Meet Our Mentor Office Staff

Joe Michalski graduated from The Ohio State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting, and received his CPA license in 2005. He currently manages the firm's Mentor office and has overall responsibility for all audit and attestation engagements. He continues to be a CPA in Ohio and serves on numerous boards within the community.

Terri Lynagh is a life-long resident of Lake County and began working at NMS in December 2020.
She has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of accounting.
She also has several years’ experience as a controller for locally owned businesses and recently was a controller for a regional company.

Anita Schueren started at NMS in 2010 with the merger of SR Snodgrass. She coordinates billing and provides administrative support for the Mentor office, as well as works in client services preparing individual tax returns, bookkeeping, and performing agreed-upon procedures. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cleveland State University.

Chris Trock has worked in public accounting since 1987 focusing on tax and financial statement preparation and bookkeeping. She specializes in Quickbooks and has been a ProAdvisor since 1992.

Faye Freed started at NMS in November 2010, when Ray McIntosh sold his practice, McIntosh & Company, to Neece, Malec, Siefert & Vitaz. She had worked for Ray in the same capacity since October 1983, logging experience in bookkeeping, payroll tax returns, and individual and business tax return preparation.

Gloria started part-time with Kathleen J. Miller + Associates in 2019 and NMS in 2021, assembling client tax returns. She previously worked as an office manager before starting her own business, with her husband, from 1992-2018.

Jessica Kapis graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting, and received her CPA license in 2013. She has worked in public accounting since 2011, performing audit and attestation engagements as well as other accounting and tax services.

Katy Bryant joined the practices of Miller + Associates in May 2010 and NMS in July 2021. She is a payroll manager and handles the payroll processing and preparation and filing of payroll tax returns.

Mary Jo Weaver graduated from Lake Erie College with a bachelor of science degree in accounting in 2001. She started with NMS in November 2014 when Joe Picardini sold his practice, Picardini & Associates CPA, to NMS. Mary Jo has worked in the public accounting field for 31 years, logging experience in live payroll, payroll taxes, individual and business tax return preparation and bookkeeping.

Nikolas Wesbecher joined NMS in 2023 as an intern before transitioning to a full-time role. Nikolas holds both a bachelor’s degree in accounting, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and a Masters of Accountancy from Cleveland State University.

Ray McIntosh received his CPA license in 1972 and is a member of the AICPA and the OSCPA. He had his own accounting practice for over 30 years until merging into NMS.

Terri Miller joined the practices of Miller + Associates in 2000 and NMS in 2021. She graduated from Kent State University with a BA in Business Administration and accrued several years’ experience managing small businesses. Terry Liss became an enrolled agent tax preparer in 2018, after 16 years with the IRS as a tax law specialist and instructor. He worked at Miller + Associates for three years and joined NMS in 2021. Terry has a master's degree in history and an accounting certificate from Lakeland Community College. Toni Erzen has worked in public accounting for 21 years. She has an associate's degree in accounting and earned her BA in Business Management from Hiram College in 2007. Toni became an enrolled agent through the IRS in March 2017.

Tricia Sauto has worked in public accounting since August 1985, became a CPA in December 1987, and earned her CGMA designation in February 2014. She is a member of the AICPA and the OSCPA, and graduated from the University of Akron with BSA in accounting in 1985.

Zhe Zhang joined NMS in 2024 as an intern and later transitioned into a full-time position. She holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy from Case Western Reserve University and brings with her 10 years of experience as an international sales professional. Currently, Zhe focuses primarily on tax-related tasks at NMS, applying her accounting expertise to support the team.
