John Lynagh is a 1982 graduate of Bowling Green University, where he earned his Bachelor's of Science in business administration. He then attended Cleveland State University, where he pursued his accounting education. John has been in public accounting for most of his career and joined NMS in 2009. April Betarie joined the NMS team in early 2019. She currently serves the firm at the Chardon office's front desk as administrative assistant. Her background includes human resources and various roles in the education, medical and dental fields.

John Bednarski earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting, and Master's Degree in finance, from Cleveland State University. He is a CPA in Ohio, and has many years of experience in both public accounting and private industry. Ken Pfeifer has been the information technology manager at NMS since 2015. He studied management information systems at Florida State University and has been an IT professional for 12 years. Megan Fennell graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Notre Dame College in 1997, and joined the NMS family close to its inception later that year. In her 22 years of experience with the firm, she has focused mainly on corporate, partnership and individual taxation.

Morgan Piecuch joined NMS as a staff accountant in May of 2021. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in accounting from Lake Erie College in 2021, and is working toward becoming a certified public accountant. Her background includes three years of banking experience at a credit union.

Noelle Muro joined the NMS team as a staff accountant in July of 2019. She graduated from Cleveland State in the summer of 2019 with a Bachelors in business administration. Noelle had two accounting internships during tax season prior to working at NMS.

Ryan Mersek started at NMS as an intern in March 2023, and later became a full-time staff accountant. He graduated Cum Laude from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Ryan is currently working towards becoming a certified public accountant.

Sandy Ward joined NMS in May 2017 to assist with marketing efforts, which included building a branded and active social media presence. She also serves as marketing coordinator for Geauga Park District.

Tina Blakeslee joined NMS in August 2015 and has been working in public accounting for more than 20 years. She is a tax preparer, can assist clients with QuickBooks setup and cleanup, and offers tax planning strategies for small business and individual clients.
