Yesterday we received notification from the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) that due to a printing error, the 1099s that were just sent out to Ohio businesses were notaccurate.
A BWC spokesman reported that these inaccurate 1099s were sent to all employers that received a rebate credit this past year greater than $600 and are not a corporation.
The BWC is in the process of fixing the problem and will send a corrected 1099 to all who received one; these will be in the mail by January 31.
